Should I put the person I live with on my auto insurance policy?
Whether they're a partner, roommate, sibling, cousin, or best friend, living with someone means you might need to add them to your auto insurance.
The biggest question isn't what kind of relationship you have. It's how often they drive your car. No matter who it is, you'll need to add anyone who will be driving your car on a regular basis–even if they have a car of their own. (If they do have their own car, adding them to yours won't typically affect your rates).
